How soon should I reserve my topper?
As soon as possible. We normally take 4 weeks notice, but we take order on first come first serve basis. The longer you wait to place your order, the less chance that your date will be available.
What are they made of?
They are made of a non-toxic modeling compound, similar to clay which is safe to put on top of the cake as a decoration and you will have a keepsake as a lasting reminder of the special day.
What size are they?
Full consideration is given to the proportions and appearance of the figurine in its intended environment – on top of your cake. A Standard size will be approx. 6” (6 inches) / (15 cm) tall including the base. The base size may vary, depending on the pose, and other aspects such as clothes and other associated figures such as pets.
Larger size is available upon request, but unfortunately we can't do any smaller.
Are there any options for the base?
The bases are individually made. They are made of the same modelling compound as the toppers. They could be created as a scenery to enhance the setting of the toppers (for instance, a sandy beach effect base, grass effect base, etc)
We don't normally use wooden bases in consideration to the overall look of the cake.
Will the toppers look exactly like us?
We are aiming to get as close as we could to your likeness, but we cannot guarantee an exact likeness. The toppers are meant to be a representation. We normally make the head slighly bigger in proportion to the body to enhance the character. Should you require having their heads more in proportion to their bodies, please ask.
Can you do vehicles?
We could do vehicles on its own. There are some restrictions in addtion with the figures.
The normal figure is 6" tall, therefore a vehicle would not be proportional to the figures or it would be too large for the cake. An alternative is to make a smaller caricature representation of the vehicle.
Are the toppers fragile?
The toppers are meant to last as keepsakes, however they are made of clay, and will break if you drop them.
Can I repair them?
Small breakages could be easily repaired with super glue.
Please keep them out of reach of children.
How do I keep them?
It's best to put them in a glass cabinet afterwards to prevent dusts. Keep them away from direct sunlight. Avoid using water and cleaning agents to clean the toppers, use a small brush instead.
Shipping
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do. Shipping cost may vary (from £25) depending on the size and the destination.
We won't be responsible for the actual shipping charges and any additional duties chared by destination's country.
What if there's any damage when it arrives?
Simple breakages could be easily repaired with super glue. You may return the toppers for repair if it suffers significant damage. You would be responsible for all return shipping costs.
Refunds & Cancellations
How can I cancel my order?
Please contact us as soon as possible. You may cancel your order at any time, but the 50% deposit is non-refundable.
Refund policy
Please note that the toppers are handmade, capturing the likeness based on pictures provided, they are not an exact copy or replica of the person in the photo. We will not give a refund for this matter.
No refund will be given if you cancel your order within 10 days prior to the shipping date.
