Michelle Wibowo
Michelle creates award winning sugar arts and cake sculptures with an incredible attention to details and realism.
Soon after graduating with a degree in Architecture, Michelle pursued her passion in Cake Decorating and Sugarcraft by enrolling to BTEC Course in Baking Science in 2001 at the National Bakery School in Southbank - London.
In 2002-2005, she developed her skills in cake decorating by gaining experiences in many cake shops in and around London.
During this period more than 2000 cakes and sugar models she has produced, some of them are commissioned by famous celebrities and high-profiled individuals in the country.

In November 2006, she entered her first cake competition in the NEC Birmingham, and won 2 gold awards for Novelty cake in a shape of realistic new born baby and "Ready Steady Cook" sugar model.
In January 2007, Salon Culinaire at Hospitality Show has awarded her 2 gold medals on "Chinese Dragon" Decorative Exhibit and "Mermaid on a Rock" novelty cake.
In August 2007, She started her own business, and Michelle Sugar Art Limited is formed.
In November 2007 at Cake 2007 International event, competing against around 250 competitors during the show, Michelle has been awarded with gold awards in Novelty Cake with "Tortoise Cake" and "Gollum" (character from Lord of The Rings) Sugar Sculpture category.
In 2008 She celebrated a double triumph in the International Culinary Olympics 2008 in Germany by winning gold and silver medals.
In 2010 Michelle is one of the invited members of Experimental Food Society, an organisation created for the top British food artists and culinary experts.
Michelle is a member of The British Sugarcraft Guild
